Caroline Chen (ihatepink) > When checking in, I noticed that the lady behind the counter had this dangling to her nametag. I simply asked her where I could get one, and then went on my merry way. Later, while waiting to board, my name was called over the speakers to come up to the EVA counter. Turns out it was not because there was any trouble with my ticket, but that the nice lady wanted to give me TiggerPooh. TiggerPooh then accompanied me through my adventures in Taiwan on my camera bag. :)
Caroline Chen (ihatepink) > Special cat-carrying cases. A cat enthusiast pointed out that you can tell if people like or dislike cats by their reactions to being around cats. This group looks pretty indifferent for the most part. :)
Caroline Chen (ihatepink) > The special cat carriers. One of the ladies, an enthusiast, told me that there is generally a 2-cat-per-plane policy, and I learned that two kittens equals one cat. One of the cat owners had a Hello Kitty bag, and the other was wearing a cat sweater. Hardcore, yo!
Caroline Chen (ihatepink) > Her owner let me touch her, and it was not quite like I expected. It was very soft, rather than leathery or rubbery like I thought it would be.
Caroline Chen (ihatepink) > This other lady had a hairless cat called a sphinx cat, I think. It was not my version of cute, but I know nothing of the cat show world.
Caroline Chen (ihatepink) > Lookit these cuuute kitties!!!
Caroline Chen (ihatepink) > Oh yeah, and both these kitties were tail-less, not lopped off at birth, but naturally born this way.
Caroline Chen (ihatepink) > At Houston's Intercontinental Airport, I met a couple ladies with cats in special carriers. Turns out they were all going to a cat show near San Francisco. Cuuuute kitties!! Eeee!!
